The Rising Sun earrings draw inspiration from ancient symbols discovered deep within a passage tomb at Loughcrew in County Meath, famous for its remarkable Equinox alignment. Every Spring Equinox, a beam of sunlight illuminates the back-stone of the central chamber, revealing carvings of solar and astronomical motifs.

The petroglyph design on these silver earrings has been meticulously hand-cut, while the surrounding silver is intentionally textured to echo the weathered surfaces of the stone, where these symbols were originally carved over 5,000 years ago.

Size: Each earring measures approx 1 cm at its widest point and 2.8cm in height including the fish hook ear wire.

Material: The Rising Sun Earrings are 100% sterling silver (925) and have been stamped accordingly.
